Do you Etsy?

I love Etsy. Seriously. I am addicted. If you haven't checked it out, you should. It's like an online flea market. You can buy almost anything, most of it handmade. Sarah even has a shop! I have some of her dishcloths. I love them.

From the fabulous to the decidedly odd (like any good yard sale or flea market), Etsy offers something for everyone you know. Don't I sound like a commercial? I do, I know. But it's really for a good cause. To help you in your shopping. Especially if you are looking for things that you can't find at, say, Wal-Mart (I'm still working on convincing Ali that you can't buy EVERYTHING at Wal-Mart).

Anyway, you should check it out. But I wanted to share a couple links to some of my favorite sellers.

For ADORABLE dresses for girls:
1. Gingerlouise Apparently peasant dresses are in right now. Do a search for peasant on Etsy and you'll get pages and pages of hits. I love this seller though. We have a couple dresses and they are beautiful.
2. Skeeterbug I haven't actually purchased anything from her yet, but I've been eyeing her party dresses forever.
3. True boutique style (at true boutique prices): I would love an outfit for my girls from this shop. It isn't going to happen.

Cute gifts for anyone:
1. Coin purses that are beautiful and well made.
2. Pretty purses
3. Baby quilts: I so want a big quilt like these.
4. Sugarplumbtree: Shoes so cute that I almost want to have another baby. Almost.
5. Dogartstudio: Love your dog (or cat)? Check out these awesome dog paintings.
6. Madteapartyfurniture: This probably doesn't fall into a gift category. Although I would gladly accept any of it as a gift ;). But I think this furniture is so cute.

Need something that is just plain old weird? Here you go.
1. Search for beard and you'll get 36 pages of hits. Really? One of my favorites is the 75 dollar felt beard that Sarah found last week.
2. Need a wormbaby (and who doesn't?), check this out. I want one. To scare my children in the middle of the night.
3. Mauro Ghost doll: weird, but sort of cute. Kind of like an uglydoll.

So. You get the picture. Get on etsy. Play around. Buy your friends something awesome. If you love unique things, this really is the place to be. If you don't have time to shop, send me your gift lists and let me shop for you.

Check it out. You won't be sorry.

Dang, are you on commission? :)

And in case anyone is wondering, the beard was in my daily email... it's not like it was something I was seeking out!

Lol, I was wondering if you were LOOKING for a felt beard...

What the heck is a worm baby? Ew.

You're welcome to shop for me if you're buying!

That worm baby is seriously freaky. I couldn't figure out why there was an eye in the flower- but I guess that's really the least of the weirdness.
